In short

Towing in West Lakes, Henley Beach and Grange comes from SA Best Towing, whose tilt tray runs out along West Lakes Boulevard from its yard in Angle Park. It moves cars, vans, motorbikes and boats on trailers along Adelaide’s western coast, day or night. A car park name, a street or the nearest jetty gives the driver somewhere to start.

Westfield West Lakes and the streets around the lake

West Lakes Boulevard carries the truck most of the way to the shopping centre on Brebner Drive, about 10 km from the yard. Westfield West Lakes has a bus interchange and car parks on several sides. If your car won’t start there, tell us the entrance you used and the nearest store, and the driver will come to the right row.

Around the water, Delfin Island and West Lakes Shore are mostly houses with driveways and garages. If a trailer’s bearing or coupling fails with the boat still on it, the tray can take the boat and trailer together.

Seaview Road on a busy weekend

Henley Square sits behind the jetty on the Esplanade, and Seaview Road runs along the coast past it. On a warm weekend the side streets fill with parked cars, and that makes it harder to find a spot where the tray can tilt. Give us the street and the nearest corner.

Further back from the beach, Frederick Road, Tapleys Hill Road and Grange Road carry most of the traffic between the coast and the city. A breakdown on one of those is a kerb-lane job, with the beacons on.

Jobs we can take around West Lakes and Henley Beach

  • Cars that won’t start in the Westfield West Lakes car parks
  • Boats and trailers carried together after a trailer coupling or bearing fails
  • Cars that won’t restart after a day at Henley Square, collected from the side streets off Seaview Road
  • Cars moved from a holding yard to a smash repairer once the roster truck has cleared the crash
  • Old family cars removed from Fulham Gardens and Seaton driveways

Questions about towing in West Lakes and Henley Beach

Local answers. Ring if yours isn’t here.

Can you tow from the car park at Westfield West Lakes?

We can. Tell us which entrance you came in by and the nearest shop or exit door. The driver will meet you at the bay and load from behind it, so an outdoor bay with clear space behind makes the easiest spot for the tray.

Can a tow truck get to Henley Beach on a busy weekend?

It can. The truck comes in along Grange Road and down to the coast. On a crowded day the driver may need to stop a little way off, so tell us whether your car rolls and steers. Give us the street name and the nearest cross street, and wait by the car so the driver doesn’t have to search for it.

Is Grange covered as well as Henley Beach?

Grange is part of the same run. It sits north of Henley Beach, along Military Road and the Esplanade, with its own jetty. Give us the street, and if you’re near the foreshore, say which side of the jetty you’re on so the driver comes in by the right road.
