Where the truck goes

Our yard is at 48 Blenheim St, Angle Park SA 5010, in the north-western suburbs. The truck covers the whole metro area and takes country jobs too. It’s often out on a job, so ask on the phone when it can get to you. These pages cover each area in detail.

One truck from Angle Park, around Adelaide and out to the country

The truck parks between jobs at 48 Blenheim St, Angle Park, in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, with Grand Junction Road and South Road close by. From there our one Hino tilt tray works the whole metro area, out to Gawler and Mount Barker, and takes country jobs beyond.

The kilometres listed for each area are the drive from Blenheim Street. They don’t tell you when the truck can get there, because the one truck may be partway through another job when you ring. A suburb next door to the yard can still mean a wait, so ask for a time on the phone before you book.

If you’ve stopped somewhere you don’t know, give us the road you’re on, the direction you were heading and the last cross street or exit you passed. Anything the driver will see from the road helps, like a servo, a shop sign, a school or a bus stop number. If your phone can drop a map pin, text it to 0457 300 057 along with what the vehicle is.

Questions about where we go

Distance, timing and the edges of the map.

How long will a tow truck take to get to me?

There’s no fixed time, because one truck covers the whole city and it may be out on another job when you call. Being close to Angle Park doesn’t change that. Ask on the phone when the truck can reach you before you book. If you’re stopped somewhere unsafe, like a freeway shoulder, say so at the start of the call, and ring 000 if you’re in danger.

How far will a tow truck take my car?

As far as you need. The pick-up and the drop-off don’t have to be near each other, so a car that stops at Glenelg can go to a mechanic in Salisbury, or home to Tea Tree Gully. We take country jobs too, and interstate moves go on a car carrier we book. A longer run costs more, and you get the price on the phone before you book.

Do you cover the southern and eastern suburbs?

Yes. The yard is in Angle Park, in the north-west, and the same tilt tray works the southern and eastern suburbs too. Marion, Glenelg, Modbury and Tea Tree Gully each have an area page with the main roads and the jobs we can take there. A suburb without its own page is still covered if it sits inside the metro area.
