In short

Both sides of Regency Road, from Enfield to Prospect and Kilburn, fall inside SA Best Towing’s area. Its tilt tray crosses from its yard in Angle Park on Grand Junction Road and Regency Road, and tows cars, utes and classics that won’t go in Adelaide’s inner north, at any hour. The nearest cross road helps the driver find you.

Two councils across Regency Road

Enfield belongs to the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, the same council as our yard, and Prospect runs its own council. Regency Road runs between them, with Main North Road and Churchill Road crossing it on the way north.

From the yard to the middle of Enfield is about 6 km along Grand Junction Road. For Prospect the truck comes across on Regency Road instead.

Villa streets and big shopping car parks

Prospect’s older streets are lined with villas and bungalows, and at night many of them have cars parked along both sides. A tilt tray needs room to stop and tilt, so we sometimes pull in at the nearest corner and bring the car along the kerb to the truck.

Along Churchill Road the setting changes. The Churchill Centre and Costco at Kilburn, Regency Plaza at Sefton Park and Northpark on Main North Road all have large car parks, and a marked bay with space behind it gives the driver an easy load.

Jobs we can take around Enfield and Prospect

  • Cars that won’t start in the big car parks at Kilburn, Sefton Park and Northpark
  • Classic and low cars collected from Prospect’s villa streets for restorers
  • Utes with broken axles or CV joints on Main North Road
  • Cars collected from a holding yard after a crash and delivered to the owner’s repairer
  • Unwanted second cars removed from Broadview and Nailsworth driveways

Questions about towing in Enfield and Prospect

Local answers. Ring if yours isn’t here.

Can you tow from the Costco car park at Kilburn?

We can. Tell us which part of the car park you’re in and the nearest row sign, and be at the car when the driver pulls up. The truck parks across the back of the bay, tilts the tray and loads from there. If centre staff ask about the truck, let them know you’ve booked a tow.

Can you take my classic car from Prospect to a restorer?

Older and low-slung cars travel on the tray with straps over the tyres. Tell us if the car sits low, has a long nose or doesn’t run, and give us the restorer’s address. We’ll agree the price on the phone before the truck heads out.

Can you leave my car at a Main North Road workshop that’s closed for the night?

That depends on the workshop. Ask your mechanic where they want after-hours cars left and how they want the keys handled, then pass that on when you book. If they won’t take a car after hours, book the tow for when they’re open.
