One road for most of the trip

From Angle Park the truck joins the motorway, takes the Northern Connector for a short stretch and then stays on the Salisbury Highway into town, about 15 km from the yard in all. Parabanks Shopping Centre and the Salisbury Interchange are at the end of it, with John Street and its clocktower beside them.

Direk, Edinburgh Parks and Salisbury South are full of businesses that run vans and utes. If two of them break down on the same day, the truck can take both, one on the tray and one on the rear lift, to the same workshop.
